We're in the worst economic times since the Great Depression. Since money is tight, we need to be smart with it, right? Well, I was thinking of some great purchases we have made over the past few years. What are some things we have bought, both high and low value, that have really been worth their price? Here they are...
TiVo: Freakin' genius! The original DVR. This is the greatest. He (yes, it is male) takes out all the wasted commercials, saves shows and even records shows that he thinks we might like. Worth EVERY penny!
Bugaboo: The Cadillac of strollers (actually that is demeaning to Bugaboo and sounds really snooty, but I just wanted to say it). We love this thing. So durable, light, simple and comfortable. Preston loves his pimped out ride.
Wii: Oddly enough, my parents helped us hop on the cool train two years ago to get this. Never regretted it since. Great for the whole family, and a low price!
Xbox: College would never have been the same. Many great memories playing this fine machine. Huge entertainment value, even today. Best wedding present ever!
Toyota Camry: A nicely made automobile. Never had any problems, no complaints. Thank you Mr. Katsuaki Watanabe, thank you.
George Foreman Removable Plates Grill: Just for the record, I had this idea, but he beat me to it (just ask Blaire). But this thing is great. Easy to cook and easier to wash, just put them in the dishwasher.
LG: Their products are dependable. Phones, fridge, washer & dryer -- all great products. We never should have got Motorola phones.
Chico Pack & Play: Easy to set-up, low cost, and Preston would sleep in the Amazon Jungle if he had this thing there. That works for me.
Bjorn Carrier: Comfortable, Chubbs likes it and very convenient. Plus, I look like a cool Euro when I wear it.
