Well, this post is much delayed. I was too busy or forgot to mention it. After five months as a reservation sales agent at WDW, I was promoted to the Finance Dept. This happened in February, so I've now been in Finance for another five months.
Which is crazy because that means I'm nearing my one-year anniversary as a Disney cast member. It's been a great ride. I loved talking with guests everyday, but it is so great to be working in Finance. It has been a crazy busy five months. I've learned so much and am really grateful to have my career with Disney really get kicked off.
I work with some very intelligent and enjoyable people. There are so many resources at my disposal and such a large opportunity for growth within the company.
Disney as a career has been really everything but disappointing. It has even exceeded my ridiculously high expectations.
And who knows what the future will bring with ol' Uncle Walt looking over me . . .
