And it helps today that he says there should be a replay with the Irish. I applaud his efforts, he is better than first thought.
Is Domenech still an idiot? Well, yes. That is conclusive, just look at him over the last few years. His reaction to crashing out of EURO 2008 is another example.
Does FIFA still suck? Yes. And especially after they declined FAI’s request to do a replay. Especially when there was a similar case in 2005 with Bahrain.
Will they ever wake-up and use video replay? I hope so. And so does Don Garber (who is a stud, by the way). But I’m not holding my breath.
Once again, props to Arsene Wenger. He is a stud, and French.
