Let me be clear, what he did was terrible. Very, very terrible. I don't know all that happened, what he feels, etc. But from what I do know, I am glad he went to prison and had the learning experience he had (has) from all of this.I hope he has learned his lesson and will use it to help others learn and treat animals and humans better.
With all that being said, let's all give him a second chance. Forgive him and move on. You can still protest, etc. You have that right. But let's forgive him.
We don't know if he is truly remorseful. Only one person does.
But he paid his time, is going through some strict procedures with the NFL and the Eagles (I hear), and wants to get a second chance.
This country and more importantly, the gospel of Jesus Christ is about forgiveness and second chances (or more). Let's give him one and hope for the best.
